the practice

we are an architectural practice with a legacy of designs that span more than three decades

The practice reflects a distinctly contemporary evolution of core modernist principles in shaping client programs and site, forming spaces with technical precision using light and materials in sophisticated ways. By embracing a united, non-hierarchical management structure, nurturing client relationships and pursuing innovation, the firm succeeds in integrating current technologies and methods with highly individual approaches to problem solving.

The office has designed a range of educational buildings for schools, colleges and universities, as well as corporate office buildings, healthcare facilities, cultural and religious centers, and private residences. Prestigious institutions, such as Cornell University and Penn State University, are among our clients. The firm also maintains long professional relationships with many developers, and numerous public entities, including the NY State University Construction Fund, the New York City School Construction Authority and the New York City Housing Authority.

The services we offer differ in scale (interiors to site planning), entry point (programming studies to construction administration), and skill (concept development to project management).
