Today, we pause to honor the life and legacy of Marcel Breuer (May 21, 1902 – July 1, 1981), a visionary of modern architecture and Bauhaus master.
At MDSA, his influence is deeply personal. As former partners and associates of Breuer, our founders, Herbert Beckhard and Frank Richlan, established our firm in 1982 with a vision rooted in the Bauhaus philosophy.
Breuer’s bold forms, innovative use of materials, and clean geometric forms continue to shape our work today. We honor his legacy by designing spaces that are thoughtful, enduring, and true to the spirit of modernism.
