Honoring Frank Richlan, AIA

Today, we honor the legacy of our founder, Frank Richlan, AIA (February 22, 1942 – September 10, 2003). In 1982, Frank and his partner, Herbert Beckhard, established our predecessor firm, Herbert Beckhard Frank Richlan & Associates (HB+FR), following the retirement of Marcel Breuer and the dissolution of Marcel Breuer Associates (MBA), where Frank served as a Senior Associate and Herb as a Partner.

In tribute to Frank’s contributions to modern architecture, we’re sharing a selection of his projects—brought to life with archival images enhanced through AI-powered image-to-video technology. Swipe to explore these timeless designs:

Calumet Manufacturing Facility – Franklin Township, NJ (1988)

Sylvan Corporate Center – Englewood Cliffs, NJ (1988)

Frank’s vision, precision, and passion for detail continue to inspire us. Join us in celebrating his enduring impact!
