In Focus: Circulation

At MDSA, circulation is designed as more than a path between spaces. It is an opportunity to bring movement, light, and connection into the everyday experience of a building.

At PS340, the main stair becomes a central architectural element, drawing south light into the interior corridor and visually connecting the school across multiple levels. Through color, transparency, and layered views, circulation becomes an active part of the learning environment.

In Focus highlights the design decisions, both bold and subtle, that shape how our buildings are experienced, revealing the thoughtful details that bring architecture to life.
